The ShiFen Theater Festival was first held at the Yan Club in the 798 Dashanzi Art District in January of 2008 and included 10-minute shows from a variety of artists and languages in performance art, Peking Opera, music, dance and theater.  Artists from France, China, Great Britain, Canada, Japan, Bulgaria, Brazil and the United State collaborated on this wonderful community event bringing together more than 400 audience members for a fantastic community arts event.

十分戏剧节首次演出是在2008年1月大山子798艺术中心，演出吸引了来自音乐、舞蹈、京剧、行为艺术、戏剧的加盟，世界上很多语言不同的国家如法国、中国、英国、加拿大、日本、保加利亚、巴西等加入了这个艺术活动的演出，400多个观众的热情鼓舞更为这次的演出锦上添花
